Hi you clever people gutted as my iphone 3g has decided to develop a crackle in the earpiece 3wks after apple tell me my warranty has ran out! Restored it this morning as may have been software issue but its still doing it.So my dilema is do i fix it with apple, sell it or what? Thinks its poor that its just gone over warranty and now i need to shell out money to fix it! Any suggestions just having a moan really!

Both ears or just one ear? Could try some different headphones.

Probably would replace it due to it being so close to warranty period. Have done with mine before.

Its fine with the earphones its when im on a normal call without using earphones/buds or if i use speaker its fine,Thanks anyway!
