IPhone 4 signal problem

Hi

I'm going to buy a new iPhone 4 this week from an apple store. Have they fixed the signal problem? Or they just give you a free case still? Also is it much better the 3GS as that's what I have at the moment (it's a lot of money so want to make the right decision)

Thanks

Does it do everything the iPhone does? Does it have apps? And easy to use?

The apple fanboys will say that the iPhone 4 is better, and Android fans will say the android phones are better.

If you want customisation then it has to be android, however if you want a dead simple interface then the iPhone is better.

BTW they havn't "fixed" the problem, just covered it up with software, I don't even think you get a free case with it any more either.

thats what i was worried about. so what happens? do you still get rubbish signal? dont want to spend £500 on a phone that doesnt work! seems stupid

Well if you are in an area of high coverage then you should see no problems, however if you are in an area with weak coverage and you hold it on the antennae then you may see attenuation of the signal.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think they do a 14 day satisfaction guarantee with the iPhone so you can check if the signal is fine for you, and return it if not.

We have three iphones in our house and none of us have had any issues with the signal prefer the iphone to anything else.

It does everything the iPhone does and more. There are 2 iPhones in my house. My missus still uses hers ('cos I refuse to buy her another phone) and mine is simply used as an alarm clock now. Its quite good for that. The Galaxy S is just lush. Play with them side by side and there will be only one winner (and Mr Jobs won't be earning from it.)
