Hi

I have a jailbroken iphone 3G and have downloaded apps via the app store on the phone, but for some reason after syncing in itunes, everytime I try to open an app it opens then about a few seconds later, it closes the app.

What can i do :S

Thanks

you could try restoring it in itunes and trying the jailbreak again?

are you using blackra1n BTW?
#3
tried powering off the phone then powering it back on, it needs an occasional restart because some apps are coded poorly

No need for restore just go to app store and download a free app.

This will sort everything out.

Bye.

One of my kids had this problem on the afternoon of Christmas Day (after opening a brand new iPod Touch that morning as a present). It wasn't jailbroken & had the latest operating system installed.

A handful of applications had been downloaded... but the "12 Days of Xmas iTunes" app (rather than the dedicated web site hyperlink request to the iTunes Store by way of the installed “iTunes” PC application) had been used.

In order to rectify the problem all the applications had to be deleted & completely re-sync'ed with iTunes (from a laptop PC).

The issue has not occurred since.

What applications do you have on your iPhone? Do you know if any particular app caused the problem?

BFN,

fp.
