Argh!!! Dropped my iPhone in a sick full of water this morning!!

Had a panic...
lcd was working, but no backlight.
could makes called, but could not hear anything.

Seems to have fixed itself for now though! Phew!!!

Gonna leave it switched off for it dry out a bit more, can see moisture behind the camera!!

In the meantime i need to put my sim card into another phone...... thats locked!!!!!
Can anyone help?? Or shall I just call Orange???

best fix for this is to buy another iPhone (you can never have enough).

(in all seriousness, iPhones usually survive quite well once dried)

No free BB5 ring up network,or take it to your local mobile shop, what model is it?

probably the worse thing you could have done, should have turned it off until it had dried out but sounds like you got away with it..

I had my blackberry on holiday in my swimming shorts and forgot. 15 minutes after being submerged i realised but it was knackered after this.

I left it in the sun for 2 days and bit by bit it all started coming back to life. I know its not an iphone but definately worth trying, it may just come back to life if allowed to dry out completely.

Good luck.
