It's the same for 99.9% of mobiles

You can't change the imei. And I can't see a valid (legal) reason for wanting to do so:?

The IMEI? Why would you need to its considered a serious offence and upto 5 years inprisonable!!!!

LOL not on an iphone you cant get at the battery without dismantling the phone!

No imei is ever on the battery....... Behind the battery on the phone, maybe.

At least you were along the right lines for most phones.

*#06# has always worked for me though.:thumbsup:

I've done it on old Nokias in the past. Not sure why I did it but..... :lol:

I've got an old GD55 somewhere that won't work due to a bad flash. The flash contained the IMEI and i'd love to get a changer to put the correct one on it.
