Hi,

when I check the cellular network usage there is a number for sent and received... I currently get 500mb usage a month. Which figure will be using my allowance, the sent or received?

Thank you and rep for useful help

sounds like you're on Orange if you have to worry about usage!

O2 is Unlimited usage so can't really help but as the others say you'll just have to do the maths and allow for time discrepancies through their website and your live use. I'd expect it would be based on both sent and received data, that's how most companies do it.
