Hi all, the other day I used Blackra1n to jailbreak my iphone 3GS, it worked successfully, but since then every time my battery runs out, a connect to itunes symbol shows & I have to plug it into the laptop and either restore or run Blackra1n again!

Is there anyway to stop this happening? On my old 3gs it never happened before, really annoying me, as I have to wait to get home to connect my phone up when it dies to the laptop! Thanks to all that helps, rep given xx

Yes i have the same problem with my Ipod Touch. I think the Iphone you have is a tethered one meaning if it is switched of or restarted then you will have to jailbreak it again.

Does either of you know what tethering actually is, or if i can stop it lol It's very tempting just to remove my jailbreak x

iPhone 3GS (with iBoot-359.3.2) Yes (tethered) 3.0 - 3.1.2

sounds like you have this one, using blacra1n you will have to connect everytime you reboot

only way around it atm is to remove the jailbreak and hope for an untethered hack
