Only if one of the other networks files a complaint like French telecoms operator Bouygues Telecomsdid.

Which in rip off britain is very unlikely

Wouldn't do anything, what you really need is the consumers to complain to the regulator. But seeing as, unlike the French, we Brits seem to enjoy bending over for big business that's very unlikely.

no suprise that only the big european countries have opposed iscum so far, britain'll have to adopt the euro soon enough tho . .

Because a single currency will make a difference to UK competition laws? The Euro skeptics really would spit the dummy if we started handing over that kind of power to Brussels.

Besides laws aren't our problem, apathy is. If we don't stand up and do something about things we don't agree with (like the French do), instead of sitting around moaning to ourselves, then nothing will ever get done.

I thought that all mobiles sold in France had to be unlocked by law. So you could buy an Orange iphone and insert the sim of your choice. Only difference now is that the other networks can stamp their marks on the phone?
