The sound on my iPhone seems to have gone completely, and it's only about a month old. Where should I bring it back to, the Carphone Warehouse or Apple? I need this sorted today as it's really frustrating!!!

Apple will prob be best, though they will replace with a refurb I think. So if you want a new one, CPW, if you want less hassle - apple.

Thanks, I didn't even know about Apple Geniuses! However I rally don't want a refurb, are they allowed to replace my brand new phone with a refurb?

They replaced mine ( the genius guys ) with a new one, when I went, mine was only a month old, so I assume you will get a new one too, otherwise the refurbs are like new anyway

I've read on some sites and forums that the refurb. iphones have poor quality screens compared to a brand new one :S Confusing i know...

Well if the refurb is scratched etc I'm sure you have grounds to request another bearing in mind your phone is a month old. Its not like its in the last month of its warranty... Like for like would be sensible...

Ask for a new, don't accept a refurb.

I called into carphone warehouse today on the way past, but they said as my phone is 30 days old there is nothing they can do other than send it off to O2 for a repair, so I'm glad I made the appointment with the genius.

Took it to Apple and it was replaced with a brand new one, no worries :)
