iPhone problems

.

I know there is an issue ATM with data. (There was a post yesterday)

Dunno if this is related or not..... but annoying alll the same. Anyone else having the problems below or know of any (sensible) solutions?

(1) Cant even dial O2 customer services on 2302
(2) Continually calls are being diverted to answerphone - even though I have excellent reception. (Been happening for quite some time) Not all calls - but a large percentage.
(3) When making a call, the screen keeps flashing on and off. Rather annoying if you get a switchboard with different keys to press. After a short while, no display at all. Only way of getting it back is by pressing on/off - which cuts the call off.

In a way... good! It tells me its a software / network bug rather than a phone fault. Happens on both mine and my missus too.

I also get wifi problems where I have to turn off wifi and turn it back on for the connection to work (on the actual iphone) otherwise the request(email, browser) just hangs then fails..

happened on my first 3GS and my replacement has the same problem too.

are you able to call 2302?

Just tried again. Several "call failed", but am finally in a queue. It was previously just cutting out as number not available!

Just tried on mine and I can call them. Cannot access voicemail though, and if I try using data connection (not wifi) I get errors as well.

Works fine for me, tried 3 times.

My 3G's been perfect though.

Number 3 is the way the phone works, it uses the light sensor to detect how close it is to your ear, and turns it off when close enough, and brings the screen on when too far. At least thats what my 3GS does.

I don't have a 3GS (its just a 3G version)... And I'd know if it was next to my ear or out in front of me! :whistling:
