Can you send / recieve files via bluetooth to other phones ??

As I have heard that you can't ??

Yes, you need an app for it though (free when you jailbreak it).

Think its called ibluetooth
there is an other one called ifiles not ifile

jailbreak only takes about a min to do BUT how old is ur iphone?

ibluetooth dont currently support the 3gs though does it?

havnt got iphone yet, getting it for xmas, so it will be new 3g

without jailbreaking the iphone will not permit file transfers, ibluetooth may work on the older 3g iphone but i just tried it on my 3gs without any luck!

is it possible that the jailbreaking, will ... well ... break the phone ?? im getting it for crimbo, off the parents so dont want to break it, as theyre getting it on PAYG

No it won't. And if you have problems or don't like it its easy to restore it to the original settings:thumbsup:

Don't pay to get it done - those leeches get the software for free but charge £15 for it!!!

Do it yourself as the other posters have said above - it's a doodle. You'll be done in a couple of minutes and all you need is a computer and the usb cable that comes with the phone.

Good luck - not that you'll need it. :thumbsup:
