I love the comments from the idiots that have tried it. They don't deserve nice things.

I disagree. I believe it shows the socially inept generation this world is producing where people believe everything they see and read on the web and take absolutely no responsibility for their own actions whatsover.

The fact it is an iPhone is irrelevant, people humbly drilling into £1000 technical items with batteries because they saw someone do it on the internet is the real issue, not that it is an iPhone user.

I have to agree with this, but I also find it very difficult to believe those comments werent people playing up to the video and in fact no one is so stupid as to try this..

I saw someone driving on the wrong side of a dual carriageway in a built up area today, oblivious to the oncoming traffic swerving and honking at them, there are plenty of people dumb enough to try this.

I know this comment is going to make 5000 tonne of horse manure be jettisoned by The Large Hadron Collider but

If people think its OK to spend £1k on a mobile phone surely it just proves the same people will attempt this

iPhone owner here, find all of these troll viral "tips" (drill a headphone port, charge via microwave, it's waterproof honest guv) absolutely hillarious. If people are silly enough to fall for them, you probably have bigger problems in life than paying so much for a phone.

Oh dear god, it's not even the one I saw. The one I saw was a kid ranting about it and how he had to mow the lawn for a week else him Mum wouldn't buy him a new one.

Apparently the person that posted it hadn't ruined his life because he broke his phone, or because he was i trouble with his Mum, but because he had to mow the lawn to get a new one :|

If you buy two iphones, you can strap one to each ear and get the same air pod effect

OP might not be able to help himself from being one of those people who judges people by the choice of phone of console they buy and no doubt he'll grow out of it one day, but considering he bought a phone that has had a recall because it might explode in his hand you'd have thought he might have paused for thought before mocking others.
Oh well.
You've researched my story, I'm flattered.
I certainly won't be drilling in to my shiny new phone however.
I clicked on your post history and it was on the first page - don't flatter me too much.
Drilling into your phone could be incredibly dangerous, as could charging it....or holding it....or maybe even looking at it.
Point being labelling all people who own iPhones 'sheeple' is fairly childish, but so is using phrases like 'super-lulzy' or following wrestling (first page again). Maybe a bit of self-awareness is due?

Might of known you'd be a sheep.!.

I just find the whole process of judging people by their choice in phone (despite it being an excellent phone) a very odd practice.

Truth is I have one for the same reason many others have one - because our employers provide us with iPhones. That's not uncommon because they're the most popular enterprise phone if memory serves and no doubt many here count among that number.

Also, you're a United fan. Does that make you a sheep when you may not live in the Manchester area?

Am I the only seeing irony in the use of the word sheep, when describing an Apple customer?
