I recently purchased an IPhone Sim on Ebay to use in a 3 Dongle, when I've opened the packet the sim came in I've noticed it says it should be activated by 19/8/09?

I've unlocked the dongle OK but not put the required £10 credit on yet, can anyone advise if I will still be able to use the sim before I try to put the credit on the sim?

If the sim has expired get a new one because it will not work.
Contact the ebay seller and ask for a new one.

and be prepared for it to be cut off out of the blue when they check the dongle and see it isnt on their list of iPhone IMEI's ;-)

Can you get free internet like this ?
Can anyone give me some info.
Cheers.

yes, its known as 'tethering', but o2 periodically check that all these PayG iPhone sims are actually being used in iPhone's, and if they arent, they cut off the free internet access....

So that could mean that they could stop working on day 1 or might last the whole year ?
Thanks for the help.
