Iphone unknown error occurred (0xE8000022)?

itunes could not connect to this iphone because an unknown error occurred (0xE8000022)


This is the message i get when trying to connect my jailbreaked iphone 3gs to itunes?

any ideas?

Try going through the finishing step which jails your iPhone up again. Restart after that and see if that helps. If that doesn't work, you may need to unjail your phone, and rejail it again.

To restore, take the iPhone out of its dock (make sure it's plugged into your PC) and turn it off. After like 5 seconds, press and hold the home button. While still holding the home button, put it in the dock and keep holding until you get the yellow triangle. iTunes should prompt you to restore.

Does it iPhone work normally otherwise?

Have you tried the obvious, which may well fix the fault: Close itunes, disconnect iphone, reboot computer, use new usb port (itunes starts).... what happens then?

yer tried this but it just does the same thing. Its totally baffling me
