peeps might want to start securing their phones asap:

http://www.redmondpie.com/how-to-secure-your-jailbroken-iphone-from-ssh-hack-9140084/

The following guide assumes that you have a jailbroken iPhone with OpenSSH installed.

The virus is able to access any of your files and also personal information. Apparently the only way to stop this is too change your password using mobileterminal which is located on cydia.

hopefully that should solve the problem!! I'm going to keep searching google for the moment to make sure there is nothing else!!

It's a worm, not a virus. Only affects users that have jailbroke their device anyway. Best thing to do IMO is to download SBSettings, and then just disable ssh when you are not using it

Old News, and I would take everything the Beeb has to say on its technology page with a pinch of salt, its usually highly inaccurate.

I wouldn't worry about it as well, I don't think the worm ever got outside of australia.

Might not have gotten out of australia, but it wont stop someone else from making more worms to spread onto your iphone undetected
