Hey all,

ive been offered a silver ipod 80GB for £45 but it has a load of scratches on the back, tiny chip out of the bottom front silver bit (hardly noticable) and a small dent on the back (works perfectly tho) do you think its worth that amount?

A refurb from apple will set you back around £95 when they have them in stock

only thing I would worry about with your £45 one is how long it'll last if it's been battered that much!

it was a display model in a store before he had it hence the damage

It would go for it, good price.

I sold mine on ebay (slightly better condition but only just) for £110.

Also, you can always buy new a new battery, screen and case from ebay and it would be as good as new.

Fairly easy to do also.

Just get a skin for it. You wont even notice any damage. Sounds like a good deal.
