Ive recently noticed that the sound on my Ipod isnt as loud as it used to be. At first I thought the headphones had reached the end of their lifespan, but today I plugged them into my Iphone and I noticed a considerable difference in the sound level compared to when they're plugged into the Ipod

I checked the volume limit option on the Ipod but it is fixed at the top

I think the sound has been reduced since my Ipod was wiped when I plugged it into my laptop and I had to resync all the music

Anybody have any ideas how I can fix the sound on the Ipod?

Have you checked the volume limiter and the sound check options in the settings menu. turn volume limiter to full and turn sound check off if you want loud music.

If you right click any track or tracks in ITunes you can adjust the Volume in one of the tabs therefore you dont have to have it so loud and save some battery at the same time.

Looks as though that could be the answer!:-D

Is it possible to change the volume on all the songs this way in one go rather than have to them all individually which would take forever!

right click on the top one, go down to the bottom track, hold shift and right click, that should highlight them all, then you click on get info and the volume adjustment is on the options tab :)
