ipod question - putting films on?

  they will be compressed anyway in the conversion process-an ipod uses mp4 format so you would get plenty movies on an 8gb unit-you will need to convert them to mp4 before transferring them via itunes.

  If you download movies in avi format then download a free app called flex player and follow the instructions, you will have the avi files on your ipod/iphone in minutes and play great, no converting required

  how do I convert them? I've not got any special program on here I don't think, usually just use either itunes or media player?

  if you download movies then search for the ipod versions or psp versions it saves time converting them
