IPOD SURVIVAL IN WATER

my 3 year old droped my daughters i pod touch in toilet this morning.(what a start of a day) i bought it from argos 4 months ago. any chances of survival. pls share your expereinces.

put it in cuboard where your hot water tank is and leave for quite a few days dont be tempted to switch it on for at least 3-4 days the heat from the tank should dry out the circuit board

My suggestion is a combination of 2 already mentioned. Put it in a bowl of dry rice, which is kept in a cupboard that has a hot water tank if possible. Leave it off for a good few days.

Yup thats the best way to fix it, leave it in there for a few days.

you can still try it even if switched on but that norm ruins circuit board nothing to lose ,i spilt beer on my laptop last week switched it off as fast as i could but screen went blank put it in the cupboard for 3 days and when dried out it booted up only the keyboard was broken new keyboard and all goood as new
