Irish Lotto Help

My Nan & Grandad have just come to see me, and wanted to know the results of the Irish Lotto.

My nan had placed 3 numbers for Saturday 12th December.
Numbers she chose were 12, 25 & 28.

On her ticket, she has selected Lotto +1 (6) draw.
Perm? is trebles.
She paid a total of £4

On the betting slip, it says I/Lotto Sat 12 Dec 12, 25, 28 (draw 2) (or similar!)

I've been looking at the results, and just am not 100% sure if she has won?
Can any shed any light on this?

Thanks!

Do her numbers match any of the numbers drawn?

That's a good start.......

She has basically bet on those three numbers coming out at set odds as opposed to winning a share of the Lotto prize fund

Yea, but unsure as there are 3 different draws. Main Draw, Lotto +1, Lotto +2.
Her 3 numbers match up with the ones in the Lotto + 1 draw for that day.

Im just wanting to get people that are familiar with the Irish Lotto who can help as I have no clue!

If none of the numbers didn't match, I wouldn't be asking the question would I?

Those 3 numbers were in the 2nd Draw for Saturday but it depends which bet you placed.

Why not pop in to the shop where you bought it and ask them to check??

from what you've said, yes she has, can you put a scan or photo of the slip up? (hide the barcode)
3 numbers permed in trebles shouldn't be £4 unless she put £4 treble on one draw then she has won around £2400

If it was 3 x £1 doubles and £1 treble then about £800

Did she not pick 4 numbers, as permed that would be 4 trebles which would make more sense?

She only chose 3 numbers.
I dont have the ticket with me, but it was for 2 weeks I believe.

I've no idea with this! lol

Hopefully, she'll let me know tomorrow! :) I'll let ya know!

Cheers Hotto...Season Greeting to you also! :santa:
Thanks for the help! :)

you play from England via betting shops

You dont win a share of the prize pot so it doesnt matter if they have added to it

You are betting on the numbers you pick coming out at fixed odds - similar to betting on a horse at 5-1

I saw that.. want to be a part of the bigger pot :P

Must be a way people from england can play... can see websites... not sure if they are legit!

http://www.lottery.ie/

is that legit?

if you havent stated with draw from 3 you wanted, the bet defaults to the main draw

only people who are residents of ROI (Republic of ireland) can play the proper Irish Lottery (online link that I gave).

Everyone else.. its the bookies / online betting shops which use the results from the Irish lottery for their games.

Key difference:

Bookies / online betting shops: odds based prizes
Real irish lottery: rollovers, extra money added to the pot etc.

Help I got 3 numbers today 35 10 n 8 but that's 2nd deaw my ticket says treble but says main draw only put 1 pound on have I won I bet at betfred also can you win on 2 numbers
#16
You bet on the main draw, the numbers you predicted came up in a completely different draw, and you want to know if you've won?

Let me put it this way. I bet that Leicester would beat Man City 4-1. They didn't, but Arsenal beat Newcastle by that score. Do you think the bookies will give me any money?

(Obviously I didn't really bet on Leicester to beat City 4-1.
That was just for illustrative purposes.
I actually went for 5-1...)
