HM Revenue & Customs (Inland Revenue)
Number on letter: 0845 3003900
Found on Saynoto0870: 028 90538192

Just wondering is the 028 number a local number? Will I be charged the same amount for calling the 028 as the 0845?

nope, it used to be called 'lo-call' rate, its cheaper than 0870 but certainly not free.

Free (from landline) numbers begin 0800 and 0808
