No probs for me, good signal, cheap contracts free Skype amd messenger free limited amount of browsing, check your account online with my3.
One downside though is the foriegn call centres can be hard work, but I would say they are hell of a lot better than the idiots @ Orange.

I am with them, I hate them, I have no signal if it rains, rarely after 8pm and the phones they send me are useless, CS don't have a clue. Be glad to leave them when my contract expires in a few weeks

Basically I want to enter a contract.

So 3 are offering Nokia 2730

75 Mins

Unlimited Texts

Orange are offering Nokia 2730

100 Mins

300 Texts

Both for £10 quid per a month.

Cant decide which one to go for. Never used 3, after seeing comments I guess I am currently edging Orange but still wanna see more comments guy of your experince with 3.

They are still having IT problems so be very careful when placing any orders online, the system is cancelling orders at random, generating multiple orders and still have problems with the automated e-mail system. I tried to place an order for a Myfi dongle, it generated an order, cancelled it, then asked for payment, took payment, generated multiple orders, asked for payment for these new orders. At this point my credit card fraud department sensing something amiss, suspended my card. So currently Three have payment for two dongles which it denies receiveing even though I sent them credit card statements. I am £100 out of pocket with a suspended credit card and I want to do my Christmas shopping.
I'd avoid Three if I were you.

don't get me wrong, I do have a good contract with them, but when I first took it out they send me an LG viewty and said if I didn't like it I could send back, but because I had turned the phone on they wouldn't let me. They pass you on to a different person about a million times so you keep having to explain the problem, or keep you on hold for 45 mins until their offices shut etc..

I think its a good network. Ive got three phones on the 3 network and they are all fine. They do free msn and free skype so thats miles better than the other networks.
#15
I agree with most people on here! VERY bad customer service!! For me the signal was bad too!
#16
Stupid question but hey I am pretty young - how old do you have to be to enter contract - if I am not wrong I am sure its 18?
#17

I hear this a lot...but must admit a lot of companies are the same.

Do become a bit cynical about a lot of companies working where i do lol

conference calls are cool on three

To all the people complaing about the signal, the answer is simple; move near me where the signal is good. I have 4 accounts with them and have had no problems whatsover. On the odd occasion I have wanted to contact CS I have always got through to a real person (usually in India, granted) within a couple of minutes (unlike my niece (O2)who has had constant problems with her contract, including blatant lies). Can't comment on leaving problems, never had to speak with them about leaving.
Minutes/txt per £ are hard to beat.
Advice to OP: ask your local friends about reception in your area. If they say it's ok then I'd recommend them.

Why, is your contract up? If so tell them you are ending the contract. Full stop.
#24
It's a lot better than it used to be from what I've heard.

I recently got a contract phone on 3 (on the cheap, thanks HUKD!), and have had no problems whatsoever.

Network coverage is good IMO, no better or worse than o2/orange/tmobile/vodafone in this area.

Everyone cheers for the comment, you have all been excellent help.

I am not going for either decided to look around bit more and commit to a shorter contract than the 36 month one.

Most likely a 18 month one.
