Had my hair done yesterday. And I hate it. Thing is it's not really the hairdressers fault coz I always change my mind. I'm dark but bleach it blod an then put a blonde toner in it so it not so brassy. Thing is I don't like the toner se's put on, it's duller than before! My question is......Can I go out and buy a DIY hair colour (never done one before) or will it be too much??????
Opinions much appreciated x

I wouldnt do DIY colour if i were you specially on newly bleached hair !!!

dont do anything with it let your hairdresser sort it out if it goes wrong it will be harder for them to fix it

Yeah, don't dye it yet - don't know how long you should wait though

As people have said... don't put more bleach on freshly dyed hair! If you go back to the same hairdresser they would normally change it if you are unhappy.. This is the case for cuts, but not sure what they can do on colour. Might be worth asking?

As a hairdresser, I think it would cause you more trouble buying something from the shop, You could always go back to the hairdressers and ask why they didn't used the same colour as before. Hairdressers normally keep records of what colours people have had so it make it easier next time they come in and ask for the colour they had last time.

Thanks for opinions peeps. The problem I got is She's a mobile hairdresser and is now on Maternity leave - I don't really want to have to pay to go to another hairdressers since I only paid yesterday. It wouldn't be bleach I needed jst a blond colour!

Why not give her a call, its only yesterday its not like its weeks ago. Just tell her you are calling to ask her advice.
Otherwise is there a hairdressing college near you, you could contact them, they are usually happy to see people who arent happy with the hair traetment they have had, as its good training for the students.

Hi hannah19790 :) Oh i really sympathise with you ..... i dread going to the hairdresser like people dread going to the dentist in case it turns out wrong!

I think you should ring the original hairdresser back and just tell her in a nice way that you don't like the way your hair has been left, so much so, that you were considering redying it. I think she will be quite understanding .....

If however you do decide to do a homer, i remember hearing that you should stay away from 'ash' colours as they can turn it green. Also, best not to go for permanent or semi - just use a wee wash in wash out .... ..... Good luck.
