Is anyone else stuck in with the snow?

i am stuck in the house today (my last day off before xmas) and have a million things to do!! have literally no food in the house and my stupid car wont drive in the snow :x tried to get out of the street earlier 35mins later and i was still stuck in the middle of the road blocking it...had to reverse back down and must have travelled about 300 yards......i hate the snow!!!!!!!!!!! anyone else in my situation??

we are as i have now thrown sand everywhere as ice is really thick and slippy cant even walk the shop lol

Had a surprise snowfall this morning in Blackpool......we never get snow!!

My xmas shopping plans have been thrown outta the window,do not like driving in snow,so hoping it will have gone by tomorrow.

OP, how much snow have you got there? we've had about 6 inches which has not melted. But the roads can't be too bad as they are gritted.

I'm stuck in! There are cars on our 'ungritted' road but it's like an ice rink so I'm not risking it, especially as my son is only 6 months and I don't want to get stuck with him somewhere. Come on rain, hurry up!

a good few inches anyway and the snowflakes are huge and coming down thick and fast!! im sure the main roads are okay but coming in and out of the estates are awful! doesnt help my car is a rear wheel drive 2 seater heap of ****!!

Trust me, you wouldn't want a rear wheel drive in the snow / ice!

Sloped drive + snow / ice = not good :)

We had about nine inches and it is an ice rink, car's skidding everywhere.

sorry thats what i've got lol i meant rear wheel not front wheel, its a bloody nightmare! i dont even live anywhere near close enough to walk to the shops :x
