Im looking at it m8-I have tickets for all the england games via my brother who got them from coca cola. Every option I look at is mega expensive tho and Im not sure I can justify the cash when it would be a boys jaunt and the wife and kids would be left at home.

I just need a cheapish method of doing it-seems impossible tho.

Your bro works for coca cola? Or was it a competition? I think my flights could be just shy of a grand, and then stay on a university campus for £85 a night, best I've come up with so far!

think johannesburg is THE place to stay-no point going if you arent at the centre of things-internal transport looks well ropey tho.

Yeah, I agree. Meant to be the worst place for crime as well though!

Have I got this right ? - the only possible game England will play that isn't an evening kick-off is...

23/06 15:00 Nelson Mandela Bay/Port Elizabeth Slovenia - England

Dont go to Capetown, despite it being a lovely city they havent put any traffic measures in to combat the world cup and it will be a farce. The traffic there is already horrendous. Joburg, rough city, but will be easier as there are charging anything up to 1000 for a 2 hours flight to Capetown from joburg. Cost me 80 quid over xmas to give you an idea. HAving driven from Joburg to Mozambique last week they are building so many stadium. Try nelsprit, and on the way u can visit the Krueger which is unreal.

If you do decide to go to Capetown, i recommend The Winchester Hotel

Don't make your mind up so fast mate. Just got bk from SA and have been there 8 times. IF your into Wildlife/Adverture sports/Scenery/Unreal Weather then SA is the place to go.

Its safe as houses, never had any problems there. Went Great White shark cage diving, diving with seals, whale shark etc. Its a really nice place to go.

I've heard soweto is meant to be okay. Won't be there for long so it shouldn't get too expensive.
