or are you reluctant to order from certain online outlets

with so many companies going down - dont want to risk chance of losing my money

anyone else feel like this

yep like blooming marvellous...if it does go back online again (worst website!!) id be worried as its been having so many problems!! u jus think if its messing up its cos they r going under!

Your safe if you use a credit card.... Aren't you? I don't think it would put me off ordering..

i know that edna but cc companies are getting hammered at the moment - changes will be on the way regarding that safety net as it costs them money

totally agree with you. Changes are already happening with Credit Card company's raising interest rates on their credit cards, averaging between 25-35% in a bid to cover themselves in the event of huge losses. Of course taking a Risk based approach covers them, but puts a strain on the consumers as they are the ones paying the higher rate of interest. :)

Most customers with gift vouchers and cards for stricken music chain Zavvi will have to apply to the administrator for a refund.

People who received Zavvi vouchers as Christmas gifts discovered they were not being accepted in stores since it went into administration five days ago.

Holders of vouchers bought after 27 November must write to the administrators for a refund.

am always wary ordering online...yet did most of my christmas shopping this way this year. i think it's the royal mail i am wary of more than the companies.we lost a gift which cost 17.99, but ,luckily ,got it replaced and we also recieved someone elses package which i gave to them, they were same door number but a street up from us.
