Yep, I get better value from Sainsbury's and they are supposed to be expensive. Love Tesco Direct though!!

Tesco has always been expensive....

I do my weekly shop at M&S and we throw less away and spend less than Tesco.

Its a bad place to shop - discounts on crap to mask the average prices . . . .

To be fair, they were doing 3 for 2 on my most favourite beer at the moment..:

Fresh meat in there is very expensive unless you buy in bulk and not very good on the quality. I like to get two kievs from sainsbury's for £3, Tesco have the same offer but you can really tell the difference in quality.

Oooh, I like that :)

But my local offy has Bud and Heineken on offer at £6 for 8 cans (or £6.50, maybe . . .)

Plus every aspect of M&S food is better than Tesco . . . .

there are too many Tescos which makes them so popular I have two tescos within 10 miles radius from where i live one an extra and other normal size and dont get me started on the amount of express ones. they no they are the closest to the consumers so might aswell increase the price and drop the quality.

I sometimes use mysupermarket.co.uk, which usually shows that Tesco's is slightly cheaper - but I have noticed that Sainsbury's prices are becomming much closer - and I think today was the first time that it beat tesco's for me.

Sainsbury's fruit and veg are usually ALOT better than Tesco.

Tesco don't make record profits by selling stuff at bargain prices, they are in it for the money, I avoid Tesco.

i used to love tesco, till i found sainsburys (FAB FAB customer service, always) and Asda (bargain deals, lovely staff) i notice that in my tescos, staff is always changing, they seldom know where their own products can be found sometimes and just randomly 'point' at an area of the store and say 'over there..somewhere'. me no like tesco, no.
#12
Thats why we shop in ASDA now.

Also Tesco online shopping sucks where ASDA home groceries are 100% better.

Your mummy does.

You aspire to when you grow up, but the reality is that your constant lies will mean that no-one will ever really trust you and thus you'll end up plying your wares on the banks of the Thames just to make ends meet.

KFC=serious stretching... :-D

tescos always have been expensive imho. just clever marketing.

and their fresh produce is diabolical on taste and longevity.

sainsburys ftw! Their own brand labels are very good quality whereas lidls own brand is even better than tescos!
#19
I have gone off it, we use morrisons & sainsburys and aldi for fruit & veg

I used to love Tesco.com as you could use any codes form hukd....now they have cracked right down on the codes and it is hard enough to get even your own personal codes to work. Overall yes i've noticed the shopping has got dearer :(
