Paypal (not gift), but the safest way is cash on collection (unless they're a murderer), but get them to get the cash from an ATM to be sure the money isn't fake.

thank you, i have been told by a everyone i have spoken to to recieve gift payments only, why should i not accept this?

Paypal won't refund gift payments - they're cheaper for sellers but offer no security to buyers. If you're concerned about being defrauded then stick to cash on collection.

so, overall, it is safe for the seller?

yes, buyer pays seller, seller sends item. simples.

make sure the seller/buyer has good feedback - when you are a new seller on here people usually ask for you to send goods first then once arrived payment is sent! its usual pratice hence the good feedback...I use paypal gift but with trusted sellers people I have used before and they do the same with me. Hope this helps.

no 100% safe way on here im afraid you basically have to go with feedback left and look at it ,if they have bought a few expensive items and recieved postive feedback you should be ok ,because as a newbie youd be expected to post 1st

Paypal Gift is good as no fees, however as a buyer it means no protection. But as a seller its good as you clear the amount asked for and they cant try and post a claim for the money even if for example they have received the goods.

Also when selling for first few times especially items of value follow ARNOLD115's advice.

ive managed it once, not from HUKDs but a forum similar to this one. I only got a bit back (what they had in their account) but nevertheless i was successful.
