I've got a few games preordered this month Dead Space £34.99, Far Cry 2 £34.99, LittleBigPlanet £31.99 and Saints Row 2 £31.99.

What I'm wondering is is it worth keeping these or cancel and take a chance on Morrisons doing another £25 deal? They seem to be in competion with everyone else and I don't want to spend £35 on a game if I can get it for £10 cheaper.

What are your thoughts on this?

None of those are worth pre-ordering - the only recent ones i would have thought would have sold out are Halo 3 + Gta 4 but the only game i remember selling out across the country was Guitar Hero 2 and guitar xbox 360

Morrisons wont do another £25 deal for a loooong time

Generally when games get released the deals are superb as they are all toting for others business, Its best to wait and see what offers come out

It's usually Nintendo games that sell out due to their crazy supply & demand tactics...

You can always send them back if they're net purchases? Or don't pick them up if they're instore...

Th only game I can think of what might sell out is COD 5 which is out in November...

I think most supermarkets are very competitive with the prices of the big releases so i wouldnt bother pre ordering unless its for something which is tipped to sell out fast

GOW 2 will be hard to come by on release day i reckon?

Well I only preordered them as there was the £5 voucher that was on here last month for Game so I thought I'd preorder then as I would save £5 on the games. But Morrisons have done the £25 deal for FIFA 09 now so I'm just worried that they might do it again for other big releases.

I only pre-order games online because
a) You normally get a cheaper deal than in the shops.
b) You normally get the game on the day before release.

At this time of the year, the shops seem to have much better deals on new release games. Dead Space is £29.99 at Morrisons for example.

Why pre-order when you can go to Asda....

I know of a few places that stopped taking pre orders for GOW2 normal and limited.
