cpu usage is around 95% when playing youtube hd and performance is very choppy for this and bbc hd on iplayer, i thought it was suppose to offload this onto the nividia ion graphics or something like that?
need some advice on what to do to have smooth playback, thanks

it can do HD directly, but flash has other overheads as well

flashHD is a big ask for a low powered system

Blame adobe. They wont allow its use in open source projects, so as the BBC are now using flash in iPlayer, thats pretty much the end of iplayer on anything other than a PC / Mac.

EDIT: LOL........ And there was me thinking everyone JUST used their Revo's for XBMC!!!

You wont get HD running properly under windows. It did used to work fine under XBMC.... but wont anymore.

Absolutely nothing to do with it..... and it could play HD content until 3 weeks ago when adobe pulled the plug.

Just fallen in.... this isnt the pluggin in XBMC he's talking about......... Yes... its pants under windoze

that was flash beta, if you rely on a beta then its just not ready for primetime

Yes, adobe need to get flash not to be such a hog, the acer is fine, but that is the situation for now
you cant do flashHD for now, keep fingers crossed

yay it works now !! cpu usage down to 35% :)
