Can I exchange that amount or is there a minimum of more?
Where is the best place to go for my euros?

OH normally sorts stuff out like this but he is away.

Should the title be "ARE there a minimum or IS there a minimum..........????both look wrong! :o)

I often get that sort out of amount as I only use it as loose change and a back up - never had a problem at various places. At that sort of amount, the only factor is getting it from the easiest place though, not the best rate.

There isn't a minimum amount.

You'll have to do some research with who offers the best rate for the amount you want to exchange.
Don't be fooled by the "No commission" offers.

Bring me back a French hottie please. :)

Just wait until you get there and use your bank card in the bancomat for the amount of Euros you need. The exchange rate is so bad and you are only taking out a small amount you will only save coppers between the best and worst deals.

Dont use your credit card though!!

Only use your debit card.

Bon voyage.

will I get charged for using my debit card? I have a nationwide credit card and I believe that is free to use abroad, not sure though.
