If you lie on an insurance form it could come back to bite you.

Just tell the truth.

If you ring it & it goes straight to answerphone, most likely it has been found, but then has been stolen, someone's found it, then nicked it! theft by finding! so you could have a claim!

The poster should ring it, see if someone answers, someone might of found it, never know!

The batt.would depend on how long ago you lost it, might help if you remember how much charge it had left!

no battery isnt dead it lasts for days, someone has turned it off
#12
Then they've found it & turned it off, it's been stolen!

Must be a **** phone so don't bother reporting lost or stolen, all the good phones only last 12hrs

If you lost it, then say you lost it!

These things have a habit of coming back to bite you on the bum - who'd want to be done for fraud??

if you say it was lost and you are not covered for loss then you wont be able to claim, it doesnt matter what happens to it once lost, think thats what you wanted to know

It is not stolen!!! You LOST it. There could be any reason why it wont ring.

As said previosly to report it stolen you need a crime number, the police will not give you a crime number for a lost phone, so you will have to lie to the police as well as the insurance company!

But hey thousands do it so what the hell eh? lets all pay higher premiums to cover fraud.

When I lost a phone last year I phoned the local police for a crime number they issued one, they insurance people was happy & replaced my phone, so it may be worth just telling them the truth! :)
