Hi everyone,

There's a tune I've listened to loads over the last couple days because it's so close to home and gives me chills every time I listen to it.

The first minute especially means a lot to me and describes my current situation better than anything and precisely 40 seconds into it gives me chills:

Is there any tunes that make you feel like this too and why?

Cheers bruv, the metal's coming out next week and then I can have my hand back to normal but my fingers aren't in shape yet and can't straighten up....I can't wait to push weights again.......I'm sick of doing leg exercises at the gym. :giggle:

The Pillow by UB40. My heart just ached that someone wrote that obviously knew people in that situation and who felt that hopeless. Last verse still makes me cry all these many years later.

Snow Patrol - Chasing Cars (I know but I still like it) & the chorus of RockFerry by Duffy - tend to blast that in the car. Also no surprises by Radiohead. Need to stop or I'll keep listing all night :)

I'm sorry to hear that but the tune is deep to me as well and is one of the tunes I listen to every time a loved one passes.

I used to love this tune so much, I used to know the entire tune off by heart and that's quite an achievement for me lol but I still remember the majority of it.

Thanks mate, the cast is just annoying now and I want it off.....I sometimes wake up in the morning and still can't believe all this happened out of frustration...I just it never happened.

At least the metal comes out next week in a live op but I still can't straighten my fingers, which is worrying the docs, as I should of been able to do perform this effortlessly 3 weeks ago.

Good luck with yours mate, my heart honestly bleeds for you and I really hope all goes well........how long do they think it'll take to fully recover?
