### Just to make it more clear, login via the website you would normally log in through, not from the page that loaded from the link in the email ###

Very dodgy, ignore it.

If concerned then call Virgin and check, use the number on your bill or their main website (find it yourself don't use the link in the suspicious email in question!).

Deffo dodgy.

With these scam emails, the best way to check is by hovering over where they ask you to click.
It may bring up the address, and if this starts with something compeltely different to what the emails suggest, you will know for sure if its a scam!
Alternatively, the best method is just to call the company. They may ask you to forward the email on to them to investigate...HTH

If I had accounts with all the 'banks' that email me to tell me I have a problem with my account then I would be unlikely to spend time on HUKD. As others have said do NOT enter any personal details if you click on links contained in this type or email.
In the same way if you are contacted by phone by any 'bank' or 'utility company' do not give out any info. Maybe take a name, say you are busy and will contact them later - after you have dealt with the fire in the kitchen or something. If you call back, do so using telephone numbers from correspondence that banks or utility companies send you regularly.
