Is this a good deal for a HTC Desire

Hi guys,

I was offered a HTC today on Virgin.

It was a 24 month contract and FREE phone which came with:

600 mins
unlimited text
unlimited internet (fair use of 1gb)

All this was £25 if you already a Virgin customer (either mobile, television, broadband etc)

I was just wondering if people think this is a good deal? I was quite impressed although Virgin is a network I haven't used before. Are they any good??

Thanks and rep for any advice, when I check this thread in the morning

Good deal, however If they offered that to you, you could always try and push a little hard and see if they will reduce the line rental a little more? worth asking.

I'm on flext with t-mobile paying £25 a month for a Tocco

I asked about this phone yesterday and was told there was NO WAY that they'd go lower than £35 a month for the Desire..... I called again and told them I'd just recvd an email from Virgin regarding this deal and now I can now pick one up !!!! £ 25 a month (24) 300 mins calls,300 mins texts unlimited BB and a booster that allows unlimited calls to landlines :-D

I think I am going to go down to Virgin right now and seal the deal before they change their minds, lol!

The tariff you were offered is completely different to mine!!!! You get unlimited landline calls, but I get more mins which I would rather have as I never call landlines anyway!

I meant to say internet access
I was typing fast at the time !

Picked my phone up from Kingston about 30 mins ago - they're the only shop with these phones in stock within a ten mile radius of my house !!

Added rep to the OP for highlighting the Virgin deal thats just saved me £ 240 !!
