Not bought a Bed for a while now so have no idea on which ones are good.

Can someone look at this and tell me if it's good.

not looked at the link but when u r buying a bed - something u want to last a good few years - u really need to test it out first! what if it arrived and wasnt comfortable.

Go round the bed stores, then if u see a type u really like, then get onto the net and see if u can find it cheaper

Unless I'm mistaken there is no brand name so I think you can safely assume it's crap. Not guaranteed to be of course, but I wouldn't be risking it.

I totally agree - just looked at the feedback and 7 neutrals - one summed it up "you get what u pay for"

My bed cost me nearly £1000 BUT that was nearly ten years ago and that bed is still as comfy as the day I bought it - plus not a squeak from it either. I know not everyone can afford that - but what am saying is - u buy cheap, u buy twice.

I recently bought my son a double bed and went round loads of bed shops. Settled on a good one that was priced at £699...............but when I got home, I googled the make of the bed and found that I could get it direct from the manufacturer for £399. Really is worth shopping around and have a good look on the net for the manufacturer - just shows u the mark up as well.

Shame, there's an excellent auction place near me where you can buy in between auctions and pick up some fantastic bargains. Like Bossy says though, take your time and make sure you get a good one, you're gonna spend a long time there!
#13
another thing btw - when we were going round the bed shops - the guys who work there are like double glazing salesman. Was a nightmare and sooooo obvious they are on commission so that again pushes up the price of the bed.

I know you are supposed to renew your bed every ten years but I am more than happy with mines still. The base has hundreds of springs in it too - which I imagine is same as yours. When u see these cheap beds the bases are totally hollow apart from the bits of cheap wood going across - they wont last long and must give u a mega uncomfortable nights sleep.

My friend bought a bed from our local market - when it was delivered I was there, and we both sat on the bed and all you could hear was SQUEAK SQUEAK :w00t: ..............we only sat on it!!!!!

Its Millbrook Admiral, and has "over 700 hand sprung individual.......and now av forgotten the rest and not going back up there!!

So..................whats it like on a waterbed :whistling: My brother is a firefighter and I have heard him saying that when u need to empty a waterbed, u need to contact the firebrigade? Or have I heard him wrong?

hi, we had the same dilemma ourselves and picked a bed in Bensons for £1000.00 luckily before we bought it we checked out ebay and bought this bed ebay number 290379841219, this is the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in and is the same spec as the one in Bensons at one third of the price this is pocket sprung but I note that they also do ortho beds, check out their feedback its great hope that this helps

If you mean sleeping its great, always nice and warm in winter/cool in summer and comfy no matter what position your in
If you mean umm :whistling:, it takes a bit of getting used to as you tend to sink a bit if you put 2 peoples weight in the same spot
emptying is just a case of syphoning the water out with a hose pipe
