I'm currently looking at laptops to replace my slowing dying Toshiba and I saw this today at Costco for £580 and thought it seemed well priced for the capabilities but I'm not hugely tech savvvy so didn't know if anyone had any ideas?

Well, its technically a HD screen, just not full 1080p. 4gb ram DDR3, 500gb hd, i3 2.13Ghz. windows 7 64bit. ATI 5145 512mb. Blu ray reader/dvd writer, bluetooth. I would say, yeah its worth it around that price.

Although 14" screen? widescreen for me is better suited for 17" plus. But for a notebook, you cant really complain.

But for a viao, its a nice price
