If they are closed at the moment, then you can't cancel at the moment.

Try again when they are open.

I would email them now and say that you want to cancel, then phone tomorrow at 8.30am (opening time) and tell them you'd like to cancel and that you've emailed them.

OP, I would simply leave a note on your door for the courier......something along the lines of,

i'm sorry but i no longer require your services, please post my money back through the letterbox.

P.S. please be sure to add- i'm sorry for any inconvenience,

hehe. and lets hope the courier gets the petrol paid for by city link,, and isnt a sub contractor who pays his/her own petrol.

....and they dont carry anything large and pointy.

Is it by account,is it direct with city link, is it through a 3rd party, Have you paid in advance, have you actually checked their term's and conditions.

All questions that could do with answers before you could get a true opinion.

Its through parcelmonkey but using city link. when i rang them they cant seem to cancell it. i mean what else can i do? they say they cant find the address i meant to be sending it to.

Let me explain the whole situation. I booked the courier 2 days later than i should this was as it was christmas and i was really busy. Fair enough i booked it but citylink never came to collect the parcel as it was bank holidays and christmas and all. Citylink have given me a date of January 6th .. they buyer got impatient and all so is now asking me for a refund saying it was my fault they didnt come to collect it .. even though the whole of the UK was on holiday. Anyways now i need to to cancell the courier and give him a refund.

Its got nothing with collecting it from me.. They cant seem to cancell it as you address is not coming up on the system. They havnt collected it from me because it WAS CHRISTMAS and THERE WAS HOLIDAYS. Do you expect a company to open on christmas just for you?
#14
Ok so your saying Citylink is the only delivery company that was off on Thusday and Friday last week before Christmas

And then yet again they are the only delivery company that were closed again all this week in between Christmas and new year.

You young man, are testing my patience......Your arrogance and stupidity is just so damn annoying.

Get a grip, and grow up, stop asking stupid questions, and sort your life out! And my refund!

This is the first I've heard, at no point im Pms did you inform me that they would be collecting it on January 4th. If you would have said in the numerous pms, then maybe I would have been a bit more patient and understanding

I wasnt aware myself that it was for collection on 4th of Jan when i checked the other day it was giving me a date for 6th of Jan and i informed you of that. Now they seem to have changed the date. I was persuming because of snow and weather ect they may be taking a few days longer than usual

you wouldnt have been able to place a booking for a delivery address that doesnt exist!

The holes in your story are a mile wide and the collection date is 4th Jan, not the delivery date!

mods have now banned op from selling or buying until oldmankensey is satisfied-well done sigma!

if the buyer (quite rightly imo) wants a refund then give him the refund. Then when/if the courier does turn up just dont give him the xbox, he wont batter you and take it you know.

another user to avoid in fs/ft.
#27
Hash, again I must point out that at no point have you specified to me that it would be picked up from yourself on the 4th jan, or the 6th jan.

Anyway due to the new information that ive received then I'm prepared to wait the days for delivery, rather than the refund... If only you'd pointed this out earlier!

By leaving the tracking code visible. Enter it into the PM page, get the guy's home address.

HAHA its ok if everyone knows address, If citylink can't find it the you all wont be able to neither lols!

far from happy witht the way it was posted, The 360 was rattling about the box really badly, It was innappropiately packaged, I've not had chance to check if it works as I ve had to go out.

Anyway I'm unwilling to accept it on the basis of the packaging, and would appreciate if you arranged for it to be picked up and then refund me.
#36
Dont know which thread he reads, so this posted everywhere

Hiya mate, Ive checked the 360, It works fine in the switching on, However the Drive tray won't open

Is this a problem that was there before, or has it just arisen when it was incorrectly packaged!
