If he was using the word apple and probably reported as copyright infringement, fakes etc, hence the removal.

Possibly but every listing the seller had has been removed. also on my paypal transaction id it is under a computer business name,

Would you think the transaction would be legit based on information iv provided here.

I would imagine for EVERY lisitng to be removed he has been vero'd or reported for copyright infingment, using a name etc, or sellin fakes.
g
He has sold a lot of memory cards, a lot of fakes about and listed stuff such as "original apple", anything which infringes copyright or is reported as fake is removed totally by ebay, so the transaction may be genuine, just not the item.

thanks, i looked a few other listings for this type of case and some do mention names which may cause the infringement.

I know the item is knock-off it does the job ( hopefully if it arrives )

there is an actual maker of the Official case otter defender series

wouldn't buy off someone with a name like that, looks a bit like someone's creating multiple accounts

abc234593498
abc536345345
abc234524534

(me typing abc then a random amount of numbers)

The seller has 43895 of feedback and is supposedly based in Bristol, yet some feedback suggest items were not. Looking at their past sales they have been selling San Disk memory cards and 'Genuine' Apple headphones plus Xbox hard drives. I would take a good guess that it was the Apple Hphones that were the problem as they have all been removed.

i don't care, I wouldn't trade with name of that lunacy, its the same as going through the yellow pages and picking one of the A Class, Ace, A Rated, etc etc, named companies, its done for a reason.............

I have seen many odd names on ebay and I would normally agree stay clear but as this seller had 43000 odd feedback this should give them some credit, however, the deciding factor for me would be their recent feedback, of which this seller's hasn't actually been too impressive. Something like 45 neg and 30 neutral out of 1800 in the last 30 days.

As for the Yellow pages some yellow pages and Thomson local reps, at times to potential good advertisers, recommend the use of AAA of similar to get a good placement in the directory if placing a large advert. Of course such tricks wouldn't hold much credit if the advert was a 2 line basic listing. Obviously, we all have our own reasons for who we do business with and why. Having worked with one particular company for many years, who up until a few years ago, did use AAA as part of their advert for the best part of 20 years proved that such names can be a success, when adverts are listed alphabetically. As ebay doesn't list sellers in a directory based system it does seem a little pointless having AAA ABC etc therefore not a good representation of what the business offers.
