All those who are working in the IT or Computing or Computing in Business industry please give yourselves a mention.

1st/2nd/3rd/4th Line Support
Rollouts
On Call
Management
Project Management
Helpdesk
SAP
SQL/Java/C#/PHP/MySQL/PL-SQL/HTML/XML/Gaming Coders Etc.

Basically all things to do with IT.
If you are a software programmer, state what tools/programming language!

Oooh and please tell us if you are ITIL qualified! Or even MCSE/CCNA/MCSA Etc!!
(Some people may even receive a prize for their services)
Cheers!

I myself started off in Business Computing with Physics but it got boring so went onto Computing in Business.

It wasnt targeted at anything specific, to be honest, i dont even know where it aimed to push you, think that is why the uni have dropped the course lol but i did however learn a little bit about alot of things. Guess thats why im pretty quick learning programming languages.

Anyway, after dropping my previous, well paid, lovely job as a High Profile Exclusive Male Escort, i wish to pursue a career as an IT professional!

(Women just used me for my good looks, charm, personality - part of the job really, but i felt unappreciated and so i left)

How proficient are you with VB (VB 6 i presume? Or .NET)
Did you just start ASP fresh? Is it hard to learn or catch on quick?

If there is a project to finish, it is quick to learn, infact anything. If I sat with a book, it wouldn't move an inch.

Done applications in VB and ASP.

In the ASP.net project I've only went upto porting data from access into SQL and all the forms for the application. I was meant to start coding. Maybe if I had started, think I might have learnt it properly. Might start that sometime if my current course permits time. :)

Btw, what do you do Kapppppppppppppppppooooooooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwws? :-D

Yup ive done some small apps in VB and VB with Access nothing major though, was gonna use ASP at one point but didnt bother with it. Instead for one of my projects i went ahead and used SQL.

SQL is good to learn, as lots of other languages use it in one way or another... like SAP/ABAP & Visual C++
