Howdy.

I am in need of help.

I have just invested in a new computer, and have downloaded the latest version of iTunes. All my music was on my works Laptop, but I have copied the My Music file across via my home network onto the Desktop.

However, for some reason, iTunes isn't finding my Music, or mapping where they are.

Can anyone advise how to resolve this?

Thanks in advance Geeks!

dont you have to point itunes to your location of music ???

i havent used itunes in along time so i cant remeber, possibly file and import or something ?

then select your folder
#2
open itunes...select "file" from top menu...then select "add folder to library" ...select the folder where your music is stored and press OK..it will then list your music in itunes.

Thanks - was playing around with it and found this and it worked thanks.

However - how would I transfer a 'playlist'???

Basically - we have 2 ipods, a Mini and I have ashuffle with about 100 tracks on there. How do I transfer that from one machine to another?

Cheers Ears!!!!!!!!!!

You mean put the songs from your iPod onto your PC?
