That would be an answer we all would like to know :)

I think you need to go with your instinct, if it looks a good deal to you now and you want or need it, buy it. If you're patient and can wait to take the risk of missing out maybe, then wait.

online shops do have sales, usually same as their store counterparts but the item you want tend rarely to be reduced in sales and a good offer can come along at any time (eg the 40" viewsonic HDTV @£436)

computers usually don't come better value than dell, and their offers are regularly on the front page so keep a lookout

however, if you post the items and the specs ur looking for in the deal request board, i'm sure loads of people will have a look for you...!

It all depends on if the retailers have a good X-MAS, last year they didn't which is why there where some of the best deals after X-MAS. Keep watching Working Lunch on BBC2 at lunch time or via the BBC website for Broadband second chance. I am sure they will update how the retailers are progressing. Woolworth’s have already posted a profits warming for the X-MAS period, something about being a jack of all trades and a master of none plus bad weather keeping the punter away so I would expect Woollies dropping prices.

Plus also most retailers are just out and out greedy and they never make enough money. I am keeping a few £’s back for sales hoping to get a nice TV for my bedroom and some upgrade parts for the 6 year old PC I am typing this on.

Got to agree with this sage advice, although I have been looking for a staff bag (golf) for awhile now and although they got a bit cheaper I still think they are way over priced. Wonder if I can get a dirt cheap flight to the USA  :giggle:
