Hmmm it might no tbe the answer you are looking for but why not invest in yourself. Keep it to use on a uni or college course.

I have £5000 worth of premium bonds have won about £200 in 5ys or so. Maybe i should invest it somewhere better.

Get a cash isa. Pays around 6%. You can invest up to £3000 (soon to be £3600) each year, tax free.

That really is poor, not even 2% a year (which means in real terms, taking account of inflation, you've lost money. If just £3000 of that was in an ISA you would have made around £1000?

Also shows the premium bond interest rate of 3.6% to be ********, as that would have made you £900.

Money safe, you cant touch it, (well you can but you have to get it out of the post office - takes about 5 days, which stops you buying things you dont really need, but its there for things you do) it could win you £1M, - :)

I have premium bonds, not sure how much they are worth, and not won a damn thing, lol. My granddad used to buy them as Birthday presents for his Grandkids. fingers crossed i win a million, lol

ok so im getting the impression premium bonds are not worth it,
what shall i buy?! im thinking an esspresso machine for my room? anyone find a good deal on those? preferrably a nescafe one. thanks
