just wondering if anyone on here 'in the know' can tell me how much this would be worth. The only one I can find is on Ebay for £165, cant be worth that much, surely.

it can be worth arount that much. Do you have a certificate with it or was it from matchday?

also is the shirt a special one ie champions league final or just a normal shirt

its the same as the one on ebay, plain shirt with signature. but i cant imagine it being worth that much even with the certificate and box. btw my mum bought it from the car boot for £8!!!!

£8 thats a bargain...you should keep it :p.

Besides just because the seller has a price that high doesn't mean it worth that much. I have heard of some specialist sport shops that would buy these things, no idea where to find em though, it would be worth the amount someones willing to pay lol.

Two points. First, does the certificate state that it is genuine? An obvious point but one that you may not have considered. Second, who is the certificate endorsed by? People go on and on about having certificates of authenticity. The fact of the matter is that a CoA is just a guarantee given by a seller. If the seller is not reputable it adds little weight to whether or not the item is genuine or not.

In terms of actual valuation, the memorabilia trade has been hit very hard by the recession. Most high street specialists have either been forced to close down or shift focus. You can pick up signed pictures by most players now for the £50- £70 mark or less. Shirts can go for a little more on occasion, but the £165 Ebay listing is way off. Your main problem either way is quite simply finding someone to buy them. I'm sure the industry will pick up, but at the moment it is still not doing very well at all. The 'value' of something is, as the cliche goes, only as much as someone is willing to pay for it. And right now the demand for these sorts of things is incredibly low.

That one is selling for £85 (appears to be older shirt than 06-07)

It's worthless without a COA.
