All that - thoroughly fed up with his constant harping on to 'guests' about sex.

over paid, arrogant, and i dont like him, but he does have a talent and should not of been suspended.

Now I think it was right that he was suspended, if only to show him that he can't get away with all that he does. I also think he gets paid FAR too much money so the suspension will bring his income down a tad, glad he was permanently dismissed as that wasn't necessary but as a ticking off I think the BBC actually got it right this time.

However, I think it would also have been a good idea to fine him (instead of the suspension)and Russell Brand over the recent radio debarcle as I think that Brand, who is every bit as bad as Ross, got off scott free resigning from the BBC that he didn't even need, and then skipped off to the USA to make loads of films leaving Ross to take all the flack which I feel was unfair, he wasn't punished in the slightest.

I agree , I've never liked the arrogant Prat and no way does he deserve the fee he gets paid for what he does .I simply dont watch his programs and never will . He has no tallent whatsoever ,makes snide comments and asks embarrasing questions to his hosts .
I would like to see his backside kicked from one end of London to the other to teach him a lesson :-)

I think he's hilarious and i am pretty glad that 73p or whatever it is of my £111 goes to him, there's not much else on BBC I like. He is quite arrogant, but i like that, his style of questioning is something i enjoy, especially when he has a guest on with whom he gets on, such as Ricky Gervais or Jimmy Carr. But that's just my opinion

i would like to see all of you people do what he does on a daily basis...not jst the job but put up with pathetic stuff like this where ppl think its their god given right to complain about somthing other people do...he has a job to do and does it WELL and gets paid VERY WELL for what he does....

just cos you dont like it doesnt mean hes a prat or a loser or should get sacked!

You said it!

and so he should he rakes in millions and millions of viewers and £££££s for the bbc....

its like saying a stockbroker who makes MILLIONS for his company shouldnt be paid well for doing a great job....

you get paid by how well you do your job and how much you help the company you work for

He's always had a big ego, years ago his wife was a writer for just 17 magazine, she was completely different to how she comes accross now, he seems a very needy man, his humour is immature but at the end of the day he is very popular. He's paid ridiculous sums of money, I guess his time has come for him to grow up

Question for those moaning about his pay, how much do you THINK he gets?

Some misleading figures are thrown around by the media

Everyone's entitled to their opinion, the whole intention of the thread, and there's plenty of people out there who do more deserving jobs like nurses - and no, I'm not a nurse before you ask!!!

Thought so, you think wrong.

His PRODUCTION COMPANY is paid £6m, a year. All sorts of costs have to be paid out of that, before Ross see his money

Crikey, I never realised that, so he probably only earns about £4-5million a year, such a hard life to be had, he'll have to cut down!!

I'm sorry, but nobody in their right mind is worth anywhere near this kind of money, even if he only comes away with £1million a year and I'm not just meaning Ross, I mean footballers and all the big company execs who pay themselves massive bonuses. There ought to be some sort of limit people can put on wages as these amounts are ridiculous, especially when you look at how much nurses are paid - something's not right!!!

Cheeky chappy with a good interview style, like him on Radio 2 too. All the haters come out when they become over famous and the curtain twitching crowd's measure of good will has run out because "he earns far too much money", lol.

Always happens to anyone who gets too famous, fair play to him earning a cool wage and setting up his family for a good future, who wouldn't do the same?

how can he be pulling in the viewers for the bbc if so many people are turning off because of him? i loved film 2002 or when barry norman presented it, cant watch it now because of ross. i say boycott all his shows, lets see real fresh talent.

Must say I like him but find his crudeness a little uneccessary.

I felt a little cheated today to hear that Georgina Ballie story to appear in some mag/paper this week.

A little hypocritical of her I feel, as though it was all in the bigger plan.
