The Orphanage (In subtitles but still pretty scary).

The one film that springs to mind and a bit of a first of its kind was when I first saw the original "Friday the thirteenth" at the cinema.

Just didnt see the ending coming and had just got up to leave. Fell back in my seat!

Probably more scary things around, but that always springs out.

I think I prefer the more psycholigical film now, like "the ring". Jumps have been done to death!

I'd 3rd that - the descent in the dark with the volume up is jumpy & scary as hell!

Please tell me this is a joke?

Terrible acting made me laugh at most of the film.

I saw the original at the cinema too, showing my age now, at the end loads of folk got up to leave, at "that" crucial moment, someone at the back screamed and before we knew it there was a pile of people at the bottom of the steps! hilarious! :-D

Have to agree, good film. Doing a remake, don't know whether they will change too much, but the original made me jump a few times, but hey ho I probably jump at bambi, i get too involved in films

Haha. Yes thats pretty much what happened to me, though my scream was silent! I was kinda frozen, though did fall back in my seat.

It was a true shocker at the time, but been copied many times over. Carrie probably being the most famous.
