, money (slow) bank transferred, on phone to bank now, on hold as theyre trying to recover funds, chances of getting money back?

pretty high id say, as long as you didnt openly disclose details to a scammer id say ur fine!

someone bought a indian for like a £10 on my card, fully refunded which was good :)

Must be the day for it, I just a phonecall from the bank to say "information had come to light " that my card had been cloned and they were having to cancel it and send out a new one as a precaution. No transactions gone through, so not sure how they know it has been cloned. I rang the bank just to confirm it was them who had called me and it was!

Is it alot of money?

What scam was it? maybe telling us will help other people to avoid it

I had exactly the same recently....bummer when you are just about to go off on holiday as I was.....they said my card had been "compromised"

More to the point, a tenner is a bargain for a slave, you didn't happen to note wher they bought the Indian from?? :thumbsup:

Be great if you could buy one that could cook curries! You would soon recoup your £10 with what you would save going to resaurants.
