And please no one starting another "Ryouga has another problem" lol

Just bought Wrath Of The Lich King from Morrisons took it home, I did notice it wasnt sealed though.

Went to upgrade account and it says key has already been claimed and to contact customer support.

Just wondering what to say to Morrisons in case they think im just trying to return it.

Take a quick pic of the screen with a digital camera
Take it back
#4
just take it back and tell then..the sooner you take it back the better probably...take it from there.

tell them aliens stole it off u on ur way home, used the key and gave it back to u, then flew off in there spaceship.
#6
Just tell them what you told us.

I bought UT2004 from Tesco and it didn't have a CD Key. Despite posting it back they were unable to replace it and failed to refund postage.

Just take it back, simple as that. I cannot believe a new thread was created for this.

Why? I just dont expect a shop to believe something like this happening since most stores are strict on pc game returns(due to this very problem) Have tried taking pc games back in past and stores saying no due to people copying discs and keys.

That might be the case if you wanted to exchange for a different game or a refund. You just want to exchange for the same game. There wont be any issue.

morrisons are quite good with returns, normally.
I bought 3x philips colour changing led spot bulbs for £6.99 each and used a miles voucher. I opened one up tried it, didn't like it and took all 3 back got a refund in FULL no questions asked!

they are a supermarket and morrisons generally put the empty game case out and the contents in a drawer so not sealed.

i really doubt a supermarket would be saying anything about copying keys etc maybe a specialist store but morrisons... lol

I think its more down to the individual than the store.

I bought Burning Crusade from morrisons in past and what I saw was they keep the cardboard case on the shelves and the inside cases locked up.

They don't have to believe anything. You bought a product that you cannot use, they will refund you. If not then speak to the manager and give him a shouting at. I would of took it back straightaway and not wasted time messing about posting on forums about it.

Or, why did you not say to one of their staff:

"Hey! Why is this brand new game that you are selling not sealed?"

You did not do this, you knew the game had been unsealed and now you have to convince Morrisons that you're not trying to scam them.

If I was the store manager listening to your inevitbable excuse, I'd laugh you out of the shop and call security.

Good luck though.
