So no more You,Me and the Apocalypse left to watch, what do you recommend for my next box set foray? Started Lucky Man, and watching DVD box set of Breaking Bad with my son ( yes I know we are late on the uptake). Where to go next though on Now TV entertainment ,have always taken the movie package before so wondering what box set to start next. Don't do horror/too violent though.......any ideas?

Woman from that is in The Office US, which is similar ish. Breaking Bad is probably one of the most violent things on Now TV, BTW. Sons of Anarchy, Mad Men and Boardwalk Empire are all great.

Cheers I'll have a look at those. Only up to episode 7 of the second series of breaking bad, doesn't seem too violent , I can deal with the violent bits when they come with a bit of a surreal edge, eg the severed head on the back of the tortoise oO p.s son is 16 so not traumatising him X)

loved that show!!

Utopia ... It was canned after 2 seasons, but was brilliant (well, for me, anyway).
"Where is Jessica Hyde?"

Watch the first two series of Sons of Anarchy then the last one. All the series or "seasons" in between is just the same.

WATCH Gomorrah it is awesome, one of the best shows on years. The last 5 minutes of the final episode is jaw dropping. In fact watch Gomorrah and I will buy a homeless person a coffee and tell them its a gift from you.

Will give Sons of Anarchy a go, but had a quick look at reviews of Gomorrah which all call it a bloodbath, think the homeless person may have to wait for his coffee....

Well, it's quite full-on. Arby's a great character.

OK I will up my offer to a large latte, bacon bun and a heart shaped biscuit. I will take a hand full of sugars and napkins and a wooden stirring stick too.

A very generous offer to be sure, however I have to weigh this up against how much my nightmares are worth........I'm thinking booking them a night at your local travelodge for a lovely bath and shower , full English breakfast at mr toby followed by a constant supply of hot drinks and lunch and dinner at an establishment of your choice, then a night on your sofa ..........then I will watch an episode.......however I would require photographic proof you had carried out your side of the bargain first.

Honestly its not that violent at all, just an awesome series looking at a crime family in Naples. Just watch the first episode, I dare you!

Ok dare accepted and fully completed. I was obviously being a bit blonde as I didn't realise it was subtitled so had sat down with a load of stuff to do and popped it on to watch at the same time....needless to say that didn't work. Ok not as violent as I had feared, not actually sure that I enjoyed it either though, sorry. However I believe you now owe a homeless person his or her coffee tommorow :D

(Sons of Anarchy) best box set I've watched in a long time. (Game Of Thrones) (Boardwalk Empire)
#24
My top recommendations for most people:

Comedy
The League
It's always sunny in Philadelphia
The Middle
Modern Family
Silicon Valley
The Office (US)
Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt
New Girl
30 Rock
Psych
Dirk Gently's Holistic detective agency (fantastic little BBC mini series)
Brooklyn 99

More 'Serious'
The 100
Elementary
Gotham (may be considered violent)
Man in the High Castle
The Walking Dead (probably too horror/violent for you)
Mr Robot

Lots of people recommending this so I really need to give it a try soon, still working my way through breaking bad at the mo, and watched the first 5 of Stan Lees Lucky Man, that's going down well here. Thanks

I'm still suffering withdrawal symptoms from binge watching Breaking Bad, absolutely fantastic series! My dad recommended watching Walking Dead, but that's just not my thing, he loves it, but funnily enough he doesn't get BB. Each to their own. If you like comedy I highly recommend The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, it's just silly fun, well worth a watch..
I have also just finished watching all 4 seasons of Orange is the new black, really enjoyed that. New season I believe, is due out in June, can't wait.
Back to comedy again, The Trip with Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon is hilarious, if you missed it when shown on the BBC, I love Steve Coogan but was never keen on Rob Brydon, until I watched this. Even had my teenage daughters laughing out loud.
Speaking of teenagers, my eldest loves Dexter and The American Horror Story. I'm not in to blood and gore kinda things, but I reckon they're next on my list.

I've tried to get in to Making of a Murderer, but my attention span is too short, I should give that a go sometime.
I don't know, work and life ....so much tv to watch, so little time, lol

Funny how BB seems to grip some people and not others, I'm watching it with my son when my daughter has late nights back from Uni, as she isn't at all keen. Thing is that means we only get to see two episodes a week, so it's slow going! Nope can't do Steve Coogan , not sure why. Tried The Affair but only watched one episode , don't know if it gets better, but seemed to drag. Been some good suggestions so far, but like you say only so much time , sure I will work my way through some of them soon.
