Got to oxford going across a roundabout a van then a foreign driver cut me up I almost hit the car had to take evasive action and skidded to a stop, he pulled over further ahead but I was holding everyone up sat on the roundabout wondering if we had hit, didn't think we had so drove off the round about then checked, luckily no damage.

Got to the cinema £8 bloody 10 pence, no way was I paying that so went straight home about 17 miles from the vue cinema. In my town a police car is sat waiting to join the round about to my left so I have right of way, I go onto the round about and he shoots across in front me I have to brake hard again, carry on driving then three people dive in front of me crossing the road. Night mare evening :(

The 1st driver was probably English in a foreign car. As he/she was driving a foreign car, he/she probably got mixed up.

He was a fellow Golf driver so I let him off lightly  if it had been a BMW I would have got out and smacked him/her one (on the bum in the case of a she).

I don't know what it is with people and roundabouts these days, I have a very close call the other day and over the last few months I've had some narrow misses. Each time it's been the same, someone pulling out right in front of my car when the blatantly didn't check before pulling out. I'm cautious going round and basically expect people to pull out on me so I'm ready for it happening but it's still worrying that people are doing it.

Very much agree with you on cinema prices as well, aside from it being expensive our local Vue cinema is rubbish - the seats are uncomfortable, there's always people eating a four course meal and the sound never seems to be set up properly. Our rebuilt local theatre has a fantastic cinema, it's much smaller, the seats are large and comforable, there's plenty of legroom, the sound setup is excellent and no popcorn, nachos or ten litre cups of coke. Best of all it's two to three pounds less than Vue! Unfortunately they tend to be later getting films in although it is a much better experience overall.

Not sure if it's the same at your Vue but when you ask for coke you get ice as standard? Ice comes out of the coke hole, when I last asked for no ice I got a ****** reply of it is syrup coke so needs ice (load of rubbish). Rip off company. Thankfully we're getting a 5 screen cinema in our town 2012, so only 3 years to go ;-)
